நேற்று ஜனாதிபதியை சந்தித்த இஸ்ரேலிய தூதுவர், இன்று பிரதமரை சந்தித்தார்

புது டில்லியை தளமாகக் கொண்ட இலங்கைக்கான இஸ்ரேலிய தூதுவர் ரொன் மல்காவுக்கும் (சுழn ஆயடமய) ஜனாதிபதி கோட்டாபய ராஜபக்வை நேற்று (12) ஜனாதிபதி அலுவலகத்தில் சந்தித்திருந்தார்.

இந்நிலையில் இன்று வியாழக்கிழமை  இலங்கைக்கான இஸ்ரேலிய தூதுவர்  பிரதமர் மகிந்த ராஜபக்வை சந்தித்து உரையாடியமை குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

The Ambassador of Israel Dr. Ron Malka called on me at Temple Trees this afternoon (Feb. 13).
Keen on enhancing bilateral relations, Ambassador Malka said, “The scope of cooperation is endless.”
The Ambassador and I spoke extensively about the agricultural sector. Ambassador Malka said Israel is willing to share technological expertise with Sri Lanka to help farmers adopt more effective methods. He also cited several examples from other countries where digital technologies are being used to help farmers become more efficient.
I invited Israel to develop some model farms in Sri Lanka so that the farmers can see and experience the benefits.
We also discussed the possibility of collaborating in a number of other sectors such as defense, education and healthcare.
The Israeli embassy in New Delhi is also accredited to Sri Lanka. A resident Sri Lankan mission in Tel Aviv was established in October 2000.
