ரணில் - பசில் இரகசிய சந்திப்பு - மைத்திரிக்கு தகவல் தெரியாதாம்...!

 பதவி கவிழ்க்கப்பட்ட முன்னாள் பிரதமர் ரணில் விக்ரமசிங்க மற்றும் முன்னாள் அமைச்சர் பசில் ராஜபக்ஷ ஆகியோர் இரகசிய சந்திப்பு ஒன்றில் ஈடுபட்டதாக கொழும்பு ஊடகம் ஒன்று தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

நேற்றிரவு உயர் மட்ட வர்த்தகரினால் இந்த சந்திப்பு ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டிருந்ததாக உள்ளக அரசியல் தகவல் வட்டாரங்களின் அடிப்படையில் இந்த செய்தி வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.

கடந்த 26ஆம் திகதி ஜனாதிபதியினால் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்ட தீர்மானத்தின் பின்னர் நாட்டின் அரசியல் நிலைமை மிகவும் மோசமடைந்துள்ளமையினால் அதனை தீர்க்கும் வகையில் இந்த சந்திப்பு இடம்பெற்றுள்ளது.

முன்னாள் ஜனாதிபதி மஹிந்த ராஜபக்சவை புதிய பிரதமராக நியமிப்பதற்கு ஜனாதிபதி மேற்கொண்ட தீர்மானம் காரணமாக, அரசியல் ரீதியில் அவர் பிரபலமற்ற நிலைமைக்கு உள்ளாகியுள்ளமை தொடர்பில் பசில் மற்றும் ரணில் கலந்துரையாடியுள்ளனர்.

இதுவரையில் மஹிந்த ராஜபக்சவுக்கு ஆதரவு வழங்கும் உறுப்பினர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 97ஆக உள்ளமை தொடர்பில் கலந்துரையாடலில் அவதானம் செலுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளதாக தகவல் வெளியாகியுள்ளது.

எனினும் இந்த அரசியல் நெருக்கடியை தீர்க்கும் நோக்கில் ரணில் மற்றும் பசிலுக்கு இடையில் இடம்பெற்ற இரகசிய கலந்துரையாடல் நல்ல முறையில் நிறைவடைந்துள்ளதாக தெரிவிக்கப்படுகிறது.

எனினும் இந்த சந்திப்பு தொடர்பில் ஜனாதிபதி மைத்திரிபால சிறிசேனவுக்கு தகவல் தெரியாதென அரசியல் தகவல் வட்டாரங்கள் தெரிவித்துள்ளதாக குறித்த ஊடகம் மேலும் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

Secret meeting between Basil and Ranil?

A secret meeting had been reportedly held last night (8 November) between Basil Rajapaksa and Ranil Wickramasinghe.

Internal political sources said that the meeting had been organized by a prominent businessman. During the meeting, it had been emphasized that the current political crisis must be resolved with or without President Maithripala Sirisena. It is said that the objective of this meeting was to resolve the political crisis created following the decision taken by the President on 26 October.

Basil Rajapaksa and Ranil Wickramasinghe had discussed the politically disadvantageous situation faced by President Maithripala Sirisena due to his decision to appoint former President Mahinda Rajapaksa as the Prime Minister. Also, they had focused on the fact that the number of MPs supporting Mahinda Rajapaksa is limited to only 97.

However, the meeting between Basil Rajapaksa and Ranil Wickramasinghe had been concluded with good results. Political sources said that the President is unaware of this meeting.
