செத்த வீட்டுக்கு போன ஞானசாரா, இன்று நீதிமன்றத்திற்கு வரவில்லை

Two cases against Gnanasara Himi and 6 others of BBS was taken up today -02-02-2017 for hearing on complaints of defaming Quran & Mischief at JBS press briefing.

First accused Gnanasara Himi wss not present and it was informed that he is attending a funeral. 4th Suspect monk's lawyer informed that he has visited a sick person and will attend courts by 4.00pm.

Hon.Acting Magistrate wanted to keep down the case till 4.00pm and refrained from issuing warrant against Gnanasara himi.

Shiraz Noordeen with other attorneys for defence  informed court that warrant to be issued immediately on both suspects and court  should not wait for suspects arrival.

Though warrant was issued immediately on fourth suspect, no warrant was issued against the 1st suspect Gnanasara Himi.

CCD informed courts that case is referred to AG's department and despite many reminders by the CCD they are yet to receive  instructions from AG's Dept.
