சைக்கிள் ஓடும் விமல் வீரவன்ச (படங்கள் இணைப்பு)

In order to discuss certain problems confronted in regard to the exercising of the residents of Malabe , the Minister Wimal Weerawansa had come riding a push cycle from his official residence in Colombo, a distance of 15 kilometres.

It is learnt that daily about more than 500 are indulged in exercises, but they have no proper place to conduct their routine exercises. This they have drawn their attention to Minister Wimal Weerawansa.

After hearing their grievances the Minister had promised to construct a walking and jogging stretch in extent of 2.5 kilometres very soon. The construction work of these lanes would commence soon.

This exercise would be completed with the aid of the Sri Lanka Engineering Corporation. The UDA and the Land Reclamation board would lend their assistance.
